I was having a casual discussion with a longtime friend and colleague concerning the black holes of technology we find ourselves in from time to time. Which inevitably winds up with what to do with social media.
His immediate response is worth sharing.
“Oh, you wanna talk about black hole. I don’t have any social media accounts. None. Nada. El Zippo. I really need to, but so far have run from it. Kind of like rap music, I was hoping it would just be a fad and would pass. To my great disappointment, that’s not happening. So I remain in the dark ages. Like the bumper sticker says: It’s not that I’m old. It’s that your music sucks!”
You just have to embrace it.
